The original 727-100 first flew on February 9th 1963, and was launched by Eastern Air Lines. Originally designed to compete with Britain's Trident and France's Caravelle airliners, the 727 was Boeing's first short to medium range jetliner. During the late 1960's, Boeing stretched the 727-100 by twenty feet, and designated it the 727-200.
This model has an approximate wingspan of 8.5cm and is approximately 10cm long.
