Forces of Valor
British Sherman Firefly VC
Model No. 801036A
Originally conceived as a stopgap until future British tank designs came into service, the Sherman Firefly became the most common vehicle, mounting the 17-pounder in the existing Sherman. This proved fortunate, as both the Cruiser Mk VIII Challenger and Cruiser Mk VIII Cromwell tank designs experienced difficulties and delays.
The Sherman Firefly was a tank used by the United Kingdom and some Commonwealth and Allied armoured formations in the Second World War. It was based on the US M4 Sherman, being fitted with the powerful 3-inch (76.2 mm) calibre British 17-pounder anti-tank gun as its main weapon.
The model is 33.5 x 17.55 x 15.91 cm
weight: 0.785 kg
Includes many accessories among which are a sculpted soldier figure, petrol cans, survival paraphernalia, wooden chests and even a small dog!
Forces of Valor is well known to the collectors for three fundamental elements; Die-cast, Weathering effects and Moving parts. Since the first 1/32 scale tank debuted to the market, collectors were fascinated by the amount of details being added to the model, what collectors found most surprisingly upon seeing the models was the of level surface detail, even the internal engine, ventilation pipes, internal main gun stowage bin, something that everyone would normally neglect.
To appeal the devoted collectors Forces of Valor has
spent a significant amount of time & engineering into developing the
hatch & hinges, different kind of gearings etc. Without actually visiting a museum, you can inspect the mechanical
components with Forces of Valor replicas.
